Last week I realized that we had some extra nuts and seeds and some strawberries that were ripe. So here's what I did....
Chopped Strawberries
Blended Nuts and Seeds (soaked: pecans, sunflower seeds, cashews, flax seeds and almonds - really whatever I could toss in) with a bit of agave, a few dates, a dash of salt and a splash of vanillaDehydrated and viola
The mix of nuts and seeds was so great. You don't have to have a dehydrator. You can just enjoy the mixture as an occasional snack. Did you know that about a 1/4 cup of nuts meets your protein needs for the day? I'll save the facts on that one for another post.
